Frequently Asked Questions
1What temperatures should I expect for winter operation?
Heat pumps regulate performance by outdoor temperature. In very cold weather the system may enter defrost periodically to protect itself; brief pauses or steam from the outdoor unit are normal during this mode.
2My indoor display shows “dF.” Is something wrong?
“dF” indicates defrost mode. The outdoor unit is clearing ice to maintain heating performance. It will return to normal operation automatically.
3How do I register my product for warranty?
Register within 60 days of installation by a licensed technician. Have your model/serial numbers, installation date, and installer details ready. Complete registration online.
4Can I install a mini split myself?
We recommend a licensed HVAC professional. DIY installs can affect safety, performance, and warranty eligibility.

- Compressor: typically 5 years
- Parts: typically 2 years
