Heat Pump
A Heat Pump is a highly efficient HVAC system that can both cool and heat a space by reversing the flow of refrigerant. During summer, it works like a traditional AC, moving heat from inside to the outside; in winter, it extracts heat from the outside air and moves it indoors. This technology is featured in our Smart Single-Zone Ductless Split and all of our multi-room configurations. Heat pumps are significantly more efficient than electric resistance heating because they move heat rather than creating it. With the rise of "Zero-Emission Heating," heat pumps have become the preferred choice for eco-conscious "New Construction" and "Retrofit" projects. Our Multi-Zone heat pumps can provide comfort to an entire home using a single outdoor unit. They are capable of operating in extremely cold temperatures, especially when equipped with "Hyper-Heat" technology. Transitioning to a heat pump can qualify you for the Tax Credit (25C) for energy efficiency.
